There are many ways to contribute to the well-being of your school, community, and world. Make your own difference!
Here are ways you can help:
In order to make a difference in a community, one must show that they care about what can be done to make this difference. This can be done in several ways:

Vote- Make your decision and vote for the candidates that you believe will make a difference in your school community.

Submit opinions- We have a way to make sure that our opinions are known, so why not take advantage of these opportunities? Use emails, letters, and phone calls to make sure that your ideas are known.

Attend and influence meetings- County committees make a difference. Make sure that you are showing your concerns. Submit items to the Gaston County Board of Education agenda. Make sure that issues become part of our plan to help you!

Donations make a huge difference in the making of a community. In order for our community to change, it needs support from those in the community who are willing to help.
All donations are greatly appreciated and are essential in making our school and community a place that all of us are proud to be members of.

Volunteers keep our schools and communities running. Volunteers come in all shapes and sizes, from all areas of the community. There are always ways to volunteer time to help others:

Volunteer around your school: Make sure that you are giving time to your school. This includes school beautification projects and assisting in school activities. This is your school! Help it become the best it can be by simply providing your time.

Volunteer around the community: There are always ways to help the community, whether you volunteer in soup kitchens, nursing homes, or child assiting centers, there are always places that require the time of hard-working voulneteers to keep running. This can be done individually, with group of friends, or even with a club with like interests. Make a difference in any way that you can.
